There are issues that concern me and this is how I plan to use GPG keys to address some of them.

1. People maskerading as myself and supplying modified, possibly harmful, copies of my work.

   To guard against that I intend to digitally sign my work, or at least fingerprints of my work.

2. People maskerading as myself and publishing posts, or opinions as though they are mine.

   To guard against that I intend to digitally sign my posts.

3. People maskerading as myself when corresponding with people who know me.

   To guard against that I intend to digitally sign my email.

4. Sharing a secret of some kind with other people, but using untrusted infrastructure to delivert that.

   To guard against that I indend to encrypt such items using GPG encryption keys.
